Wolf

I carved a howling Wolf out of Buckeye Burl, Walnut, Mangowood, White Oak, Curly Maple, Cherry, Zebrawood and 4 gallons of epoxy resin. I first milled up all the lumber and created layers which were stacked one onto the other. I then poured 4 gallons of epoxy with a blue hue. Once the epoxy was cured, I used a chainsaw as well as other power tools to carve the wolf out of the block. I then hand sanded the entire sculpture from 60 grit up to 5000 grit before polishing and finishing.
