Whale Shark

Carved from Bastogne Walnut and Maple, this Whale Shark is easily one of my favorite and most technically demanding pieces to date. Every single spot is a hand-fitted maple inlay, creating a striking contrast against the rich walnut body. The shark is mounted on sleek brass rods above an amazing piece of maple burl for the base. This sculpture measures 28” long x 14” tall and 13” wide.
